GENERAL INTRODUCTION:

The Archbishop, visible principle of unity in his archdiocese, is called to build up the particular Church unceasingly in the communion of all its members, and to ensure that their diverse gifts and ministries, in union with the universal Church, serve to build up all the faithful and to spread the Gospel. (Apostolorum Successores 8). He must take care that all the affairs which belong to the administration of the whole archdiocese are duly coordinated and are ordered to attain more suitably the good of the portion of the people of God entrusted to him.” (Apostolorum Successores 177).

 

Each position employed in the Chancery helps to extend the ministry of the Archbishop in particular ways as outlined in the position description.

 

 

 

General Summary of Essential Purpose:

The IT Systems Administrator provides advanced technical expertise, guidance, operational, and training support for on-prem and cloud software applications, network configuration and monitoring, systems engineering and administration, and technical support for all users across the organization.

 

 

Essential Position Duties:

  1. Engineers and administers Microsoft Entra/Azure Active Directory, Office365, Intune, and AutoPilot. Windows 11, MacOS, and iOS devices. Primarily focuses on Tier II-level administration and projects but will also regularly engage with Tier 1 technical support as needed.
  2. Proven experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, Intune, and Autopilot configuration and administration.
  3. Experience with Apple Device Manager to manage and secure endpoint devices.
  4. Collaborates, plans, and executes on development and improvement of on-prem and cloud infrastructure platform, standards, and procedures. This also includes competency in managing virtual infrastructure, disaster recovery, monitoring, and replication in a multi-site environment.
  5. Experience with managing and securing Exchange, SharePoint, and Teams.
  6. Can adeptly administer SharePoint across disperate organizations.
  7. Provide senior technical support as an escalation point for Service Desk team members. Deliver guidance or direction to the IT team and engage external vendor support as required.
  8. Manage Active Directory for user accounts, security groups, distribution lists, external contacts, file permissions, etc.
  9. Research and lead implementation of special systems and software projects.
  10. Accurately and timely documents incident tickets and resolutions using ITSM processes and case management platform. Maintains clear communications with the users during the resolution process.
  11. Essential Qualifications:

    Required Experience:

     

    1. 5+ years of Tier II/III systems administration and/or engineering experience.
    2. 5+ years of Office365 Enterprise administration.
    3. 3+ years of endpoint device management.
    4. 3+ years troubleshooting Apple computers and mobile devices.

     

     

    Certificates:

     

    1. Microsoft certifications related to administration or engineering of Azure.
    2. Cisco CCNA preferred

    Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications.
